She was born on Monday, September 7, 1914 in Alabama, Daughter of the late John Maddox Megginson and the late Amanda McMillan Meggison. She was a Social Worker. Surviving are her Daughter, Sylvia M. (Larry) Mitchell of Huntsville, AL; 2 Sons, John W. (Elizabeth) McKee of Clanton, AL, James M. (Susan) McKee of Marietta, GA; 3 Grandsons, Chad M. (Mireya) McKee of Oxford, England, Christopher K. (Mandy) Mitchell of Montgomery, AL, John S. McKee of Clanton, AL; 2 Granddaughters, Kari M. (Chris) Potts of Marietta, GA, Courtney M. (Mark) Doering of Huntsville, AL; 2 Sister-in-Law, Mrs. Mary Megginson of Montgomery, AL, Mrs. Louise McKee of Clanton, AL; A number of Nieces and Nephews. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, February 12, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009, at 2:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Hurd and Rev. Matt DeBord officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
