Morgan C. "Rip" Collins, 95, of Clanton died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. He was born on Tuesday, July 2, 1918 in Mississippi, Son of the late Sam Collins and the late Rosa Cooley Collins. He was an Insurance Salesman. Surviving are Grandchildren, Debbie (Randall) Franklin of Billingsley, AL, Stephanie Easterling Moats of Thorsby, AL, Ashley Francisco Holt of Clanton, AL, Danielle Plyler of Clanton, AL; 8 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Special Friend, Agnes Ellison of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Hazel Collins, Daughter, Phyllis Easterling and Daughter, Jane Plyler. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, March 28, 2014 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 10:30 A.M. at Clanton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Dovey officiating.
