Morgan "Skip" Reynolds

Morgan "Skip" Reynolds II, 74, of Clanton, Alabama passed away September 13, 2026, with his wife, Christine "Tina" Hartman and his brother Judge Sibley Reynolds by his side.

He was born July 8, 1952, in Alabama, son of the late Morgan Reynolds and the late Barbara Reynolds.

Skip lived his young life in Clanton, AL, with his parents, Morgan and Barbara Reynolds, and younger brother Sibley. Always fascinated with radio engineering and music, Skip worked locally at WKLF while in high school. Upon graduation, he headed to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where generations of the Reynolds family attended college. While at the U of A, skip worked as the engineer for several radio stations and the local TV station, where he met and became friends with the woman who would later be his wife of almost forty years.

After graduation, Skip continued his passion for radio programming and engineering. His talents were well known and in great demand which led to a move to Memphis, TN in the mid 1990"s for new exciting professional opportunities.

Upon retirement in early 2026, Skip and Tina returned to their Alabama roots and moved to Clanton.

Skip was hard working, gracious, generous, humble and very funny. ALl who Knew him were better for his friendship.

Surviving are his Wife, Christine "Tina" Hartman; Brother, Sibley (Rhonda) Reynolds; Nieces, Ashley Hartman (Andrew) Saunders, Mary Beth (Wes) Wyatt; Nephew, Sibley "Mac" Reynolds; Great nephews, Reynolds and Tucker Wyatt; Great Nieces, Hazel and Juniper Saunders.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Morgan Reynolds, Mother, Barbara McGowin Reynolds.

Everyone has a "SKip Story". His memory and knowledge of popular music id legend. His ability in radio engineering and programming, unmatched. His cooking and recioes sought after and shared with the exception of the Chex Party Mix "secret" which has stayed in the family.
