Myrtis Inez Thomas Mims, 92, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 9, 2020 in Clanton, Alabama. She was born April 15, 1928 in Chilton Verbena, Alabama, daughter of the late Claude Thomas and Mary Glenn Thomas. She was a assembly line worker for Gulf State. Surviving are her Daughter; Myra Faith (Jimmy) Cleckler, Son; Ronald E. (Ellen) Mims; Sisters, Carol A. Cleckler, & Mollie F. Thomas; Grandsons, Jay Warren Mims, & Joshua Thomas Mims; Great-Grandson, Jackson Thomas Mims. She was preceded in death by her Husband, E.J. Mims; Sister, Clara Wise; Brothers, Herman & Leon Thomas; Parents,Claude M. Thomas and Mary Thomas. Friends will be received Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church #2. Services will be held Friday, December 11, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church #2 with Glenn Bond and Jay Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist #2 Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
