Myrtle L. Cleckler, 87, of Verbena died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. She was born on Friday, December 14, 1923 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late James William Mims and the late Charlotte Mims. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are 3 Daughters, Mrs. Melba Adams, Mrs. Myra Davis and Mrs. Ester Jones, of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. Kenneth Cleckler of Clanton, AL; Sister, Mrs. Charlotte Lucille Johnson of Clanton, AL; 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Mr. Horace Cleckler; Daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Stewart; and 15 Brothers & Sisters. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, February 11, 2011 at Martin Chapel.. Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Chapel.
