Myrtle Louise Green

Myrtle Louise Green, 84, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away April 28, 2024, at  her residence in Maplesville, AL.

She was born September 4, 1939, in Alabama, daughter of the late Dewey Anderson and the late Maggie Anderson.

She was a homemaker, loving wife of 65 years, mother, sister, and Grandmother.

Surviving are her Daughters, Kathy Diane (Eddie) Sanderson, Deborah Wanda (Jim) Avary, Lillian Denise (Terry) Hayes, Teresa Darlene (Lee) Bastien; Sons, Herbert Cecil (Brenda) Green, Jr., Joseph Preston (Angie) Green; 18 grandchildren; 21 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Sisters, Agnes Marie Brasher, Gladys Fay Bond.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Herbert Cecil Green; Father, Dewey Malcomb Anderson; Mother, Maggie Lou Anderson; Daughter, Kim Yvonne Wright; Sister, Margie Nell Mims; Brother, Wendall Wilkey Anderson; Granddaughter, Sonya Avary; Sons-in-Law, Lee Bastien, Ronnie Gore, James Avary.

Friends will be received Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 5:00 p.m.. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Green officiating.

Interment will follow in Vermont Holiness Cemetery, Maplesville, Alabama.
