Myrtle Geneva Popwell, 87, of Clanton died Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Alabaster. She was born on Tuesday, August 25, 1925 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late James Fonzie Mullins and the late Ida Mae Caton Mullins. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are 3 Sons, Don Popwell of Clanton, AL, Ricky Popwell of Millbrook, AL, Jim Popwell of Montgomery, AL; Daughter, Linda P. Chandler of Montgomery, AL; Sister, Dot Comer of Clanton, AL; Brother, Terry Mullins of Lake Jordan; 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lee Erskine Popwell. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, November 30, 2012 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 11:00 am. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
