Nellie Juanita Mims

Nellie Juanita Mims, 75 of Clanton died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 @ home. She was born on Oct. 21, 1934 in Monroeville, AL daughter of the late Marion Robert Davidson and the late Sophia Zonnell Fox Davidson. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her 7 children Janice (Joel) Smitherman; James (Debbie) Mims; Bernie Mims; Becky (Mike) Scott; Alma Kroeger; Pauline (Billy) Clackley; Robert (Barbara) Mims. 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Brothers Jack Davidson; Jimmy Davidson. Sisters, Mary Anderson; Linda (Wayne) Puckett; Opal Connell. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Mims; parents Shag & Sophia Davidson; 5 brothers and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8pm Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 @ 11:00am at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Smitherman and Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home Directing.
