Nellie Posey Milam

Nellie Posey Milam, Born on October 28, 1934, married to William R. Milam in 1954 until his death in 2010. They had 8 children and a very prosperous life. She was a grandmother, great mother, and great grandmother. She was a caregiver for years. She was a Christian and God has called her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Milam; daughter, Raymona who passed after a 10 year battle with cancer; father, Herbert Marvin Posey; mother, Clara Webb Posey; her 2 brothers, James & Henry; 4 sisters, Evelyn Busby, Irene Ducan, Margie Kimiski, and Myrtle Walker.

She is survived by her sons, Rickie Milam, Ronnie Milam, Paul (Susan) Milam; daughters, Sherri Debois, Vicki Minor, Alyson (Steve) Hill, Kim Price.

She had 13 grandkids, Joshua, Jordan, Jacob, Aubrie, Courtney, Hunter, Ashley, Bradley, Amber, Chance, Caleb, Blake, Weston, and Preston. She had 15 great grandchildren.

What a legacy to leave here on Earth. She was very much loved by all of us and her special friend, Janette Castenallo. We will all miss her, but now she is truly at peace and will never suffer again. Our precious Lord and Savior has welcomed her with open arms, and she will watch us from up above and keep guiding us in the right direction. We Love You!

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Guinn officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
