Nellie Lorene Riggins Mims, 89, of Thorsby died Friday, August 3, 2012 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. She was born on Tuesday, August 8, 1922 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late James Corbett Riggins and the late Susan Iona Lowery Riggins. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 3 Daughters, Nell (Don) Verner of Thorsby, AL, Joyce Hohn of Waldorf, MD, Linda (Ronnie) Nelson of Jemison, AL; Son, Rick (Reba) Mims of Clanton, AL; 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, A Host of Nieces, Nephews & other Family. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Henry Hollis Mims. Friends will be received from 1-2, Sunday, August 5, 2012 @ Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Sunday, August 5, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama.
