Nina Sue Headley Harrison Burkhalter, 82, of Clanton, Alabama passed away on August 25, 2020. She was born on May 17, 1938 in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Leo Headley, Sr. and Ethel Yeargan Headley. She was a retired legal secretary, and a lifelong farmer. Surviving are her Brother, Leo (Betty) Headley, Jr.; Daughter, Tammy (Allen) Nail; Son, Patt (JoDel) Burkhalter; Daughter, Alyce (Bret) Smith; Grandchildren, Eric Nail, Mitch Nail, Jodi Nail, Lucas Burkhalter, Lee Burkhalter, Brent Smith, Anne Smith, Igor Smith; and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Headley, Sr. and Ethel Yeargan Headley; Husband, Shearles Edward Harrison; Husband, Gordon Evins Burkhalter. The family requests no flowers, please donate to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. Graveside service will be held, August 27, 2020, at 2:00 pm. at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery with Andrew Howell, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
