Nina S. Jackson

Nina S. Jackson age 90 of Maryville, TN passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. She was a long time resident of Clanton before her move to Maryville, in 1996. Nina was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed working in her flower garden, puzzles, reading, cross stitch and playing Bunko. Preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Popwell; husbands Frank Denman, Bill Popwell and Cecil Jackson; her mother Audrey Strickland, father Lloyd Strickland; sisters LuEarl Strickland, Sudie Deavours, Betty Parson, and Jannalene McCullough; Brothers Raymond Strickland and Jimmy Strickland. Survivors include Children, Wallace Denman and wife Linda; Michael Denman, Nancye Peek, and Brenda Tallent and husband, Jimmy; Brothers and Sisters, Sarah Hardigree, Gerald Strickland, Noma Short, Leon Strickland, and Dalton Strickland, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday July 20, 2016 at 1:00pm at Martin Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask that a donation be made to the building fund at Everett Hill Baptist Church, 401 South Everett High Rd., Maryville, TN 37804.
