Nolvis Mae Rasberry Childress, 75, of Jemison died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Thursday, December 20, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late James Claude Mims and the late Gladys Sanders Mims. She was a Secretary. Surviving are her Husband, Frank Childress of Jemison, AL; Son, Randy Rasberry of Plano, TX; Daughter, Debi Blackmon of Boaz, AL; 4 Grandchildren, Amy Fouche, Jenny Anthony, Chris Babbs, Ryan Blackmon, Michael Blackmon, Sandra Rasberry, Ethan Rasberry; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Raymond Mims of Jemison, AL. Friends will be received from 10-1, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 @ Jemison First Baptist. Services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at 1:00 P.M.. at Jemison First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
