She was born on Tuesday, August 25, 1908 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Horace Aldridge and the late Mesia Allen Aldridge. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Mrs. Peggy W. Weldon of Clanton, AL; Brother, Mr. Rex Aldridge of Robertsdale, AL; Sister, Mrs. Jean Houston of Thorsby, AL; Son-in-Law, Mr. Kenneth Weldon of Clanton, AL; 5 Grandchildren, A number of Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Claude E. Wood, Sr. and Son, Claude E. Wood, Jr.. Friends will be received from 2-3, Friday, February 27, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2009, at 3:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist Cemetery, .
