Norma Jean Hilyer, 86, of Jemison, Alabama passed away August 7, 2020 in Alabaster, AL. She was born September 8, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Doc Evans and Gertrude Sundbery Evans. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Janet (Terry) Smith; Grandson, Eric Smith; Sisters, Blanche Sammons, Betty Choat; A host of Cousins, Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Hollins Jessie Hilyer; Son, Danny Hilyer; Parents, Doc & Gertrude Evans. Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 9, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bezshan Dolatabadi officiating. Everyone meet at the cemetery. Facial coverings and social distancing are required. Martin Funeral Home directing. You may leave online condolences for the family on the guest registry at www.martinfuneralhomeinc.com.
