Surviving are Wife, Donna Mims Conkle of Calera, AL; Son, Norman Joseph "Joe" (Gidget) Conkle, II. of Cullman, AL; Daughter, Martha Conkle Hall, Mexico; Brother, Lewis (Donna) Smith of Mt. Olive, AL; 2 Grandchildren, Several Great-Nephews; Best Friend, Gary Lott of Alabaster, AL; Nephew, Adam White; Nieces, Lisa (Davis) Morris, Amanda (Mark) Carroll; Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law, Earl & Dean Mims of Verbena, AL. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Elizabeth JoAnn Smith and Daughter, Mary Elizabeth Conkle. Friends will be received from 12-1, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 @ Martin Funeral Home.
