Ollie Mae Cox

Ollie Mae Connell Cox, known as Sister Ollie Mae, 81, a native and lifelong resident of Clanton, went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2009. She was born December 19, 1927. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Samuel Cox and her parents James Gemosie Connell and Biethie Moates Pierce, brother James Walter Connell, St. and sister Dorothy Baker. She is survived by Sons, Sammy Cox (Karen) and Gregg Cox (Kathy) of Clanton and Daughters, Linda (John) Klinner, Regena (Charles) Huett and Rene Carter of Clanton. Special Friend and caregiver, Brother Paul Byler, 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Also, surviving are Sisters, Myrtle Porter, Birmingham, AL; Lucille Sheffield, Mobile, AL; Norma Connell, Selma, AL; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and close friends. Half-brothers, Clint and Wilburne Connell. Visitation will be held July 1, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Victory Chapel Church and services will be 10:00 AM graveside at Martin Memorial Cemetery, Thursday, July 2, 2009.
