He was born on Monday, June 26, 1922 in Jefferson Co., Alabama, Son of the late Oscar William Allen and the late Elma Nancy Lovelady. He worked with the Street Dept. in Birmingham, AL Surviving are his Son, Fonley (Jan) Allen of Dunlap, Iowa; 2 Daughters, Brenda (Steve) Jones of Clanton, AL, Chancis (Shannon) Mims of Clanton, AL; Sister, Olive Langner of Pleasant Grove, AL; 5 grandchildren; Numerous great and great-great grandchildren, Numerous nephews , Several Great nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 7, 2009, at 1:00PM. at Moore's Crossroads with Bro. Richard Langner officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
