He was born on Monday, June 4, 1923 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Oscar Thomas Jefferson Smith, Sr. and the late Julia Ann Vance Smith. He was a Store Owner. Surviving are his 2 Daughters, Sandra Kaye (Wilburne) Connell of Clanton, AL, Pamela Renee (Roger) Baker of Isabella, AL; Brother, James H. Smith of Coopers, AL; 2 Granddaughters, Emily Nicole Connell of Clanton, AL, Brianna Caitlin Baker of Isabella, AL; 2 Grandsons, Ethan Cole Connell of Clanton, AL, Britton Garrett Baker of Isabella, AL; Special Friends, Cody Smith, Robi Klein, Shirley Latham, Joyce Wheeler and M.J. Davis. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lois Marie Edwards Smith. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, April 25, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
