Ottis Eugene "Peanut" Neeley, 77, of Clanton died Wednesday, November 20, 2013. He was born on Sunday, June 28, 1936 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Wilbert Neeley and the late Mary Hedgepeth Neeley. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his Wife, Ruby Neeley; Daughter, Gwen (Garry) Vines; Grandson, Heath (Freda) Vines; Granddaughter, Heather (David) Staggs; Great-Grandchildren, Gracie, Jacob, & Will Vines, Tyler & Bailee Staggs; Sisters, Louise Smith, Dorothy Powers. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wilbert & Mary Neeley. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
