Patricia Watley Porter

Patricia W. Porter, 80, of Jemison, Alabama passed away September 12, 2026, at her residence.

She was born April 4, 1946, in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of the late Bernie Watley and the late Polly Watley.

She was the famous bisquet maker at the Dairy Queen in those days. But she was known as the most caring person, a lot of people called her mom. She tried to help everyone and do for them. She loved the beach and enjoyed traveling, camping, but the love she had for all was amazing. She loved her some crab legs and some crab claws, when we would go eat, they would wish we would leave because we eat so much. No matter where we went there was a flower that she picked that was brought home. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She was a member of Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church and loved her church family.

Surviving are her Husband of 39 years, Walter Glen Porter, Daughter, Teresa (Allen) Evans, Daughter, Amanda (Gene) Turner, Grandson, Cody (Robin) Evans, Grandson, BB (Josie) Evans, Granddaughter, Jessica Turner, Grandson, Bubba (Samantha) Turner, Grandson, Dalton (Laken) Turner, Step Daughter, Ann (Jerry) Patterson, Step-Daughter, Gail (Gary) Fant, Step Granddaughter, Meghan (Tyler) Owens, Step Grandson, Steven (Lacie) Gray, Step Grandson, Eric (Jessica) Gray, Great-Grandson, Beau Evans, Great-Grandson, Gunner Evans, Great-Grandson, Bode Turner, Great-Grandson, Remington Turner, Great-Granddaughter, Huntleigh Turner, Step Great-Granddaughter, Vivian Owens, Step Great-Grandson, Cole Gray, Step-Great Grandson, Luke Gray, Step Great-Grandson, Noah Gray, Brother, Bobby (Carolyn) Watley, Sister, Carol (Wayne) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Bernie Watley, Mother, Lester Polly Watley, Sister, Joyce Brooks.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm. at Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Burnett and Rev. Mark Lovette officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery in Jemison, Alabama.
