Patsy Ruth Surles

Patsy Ruth Surles, 78, of Jemison, Alabama passed away August 12, 2026, at Brookwood Medical Center.

She was born June 12, 1948, in Alabama, daughter of the late Wilbern Edwards and the late Lucille Edwards.

She was an Office Coordinator-Theatre Department with the University of Montevallo.

Surviving are her Daughters, Micki (Jay) Turner, Lisa (Hugh) Young, Crystal (John) Blozik; 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; Best Friend, Ann Leslie.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Wilbern "Snubb" Edwards; Mother, Lucille "Lucy" Edwards; Husband, James "Ronnie" Surles.

Friends will be received Friday, August 21, 2026, from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.

Patsy requested a graveside service, however since weather is unbearable, the family is doing the service inside and friends are welcome to the cemetery after the service.
