Paula Joan Emmerich

Joan Mims Emmerich, 71, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 27, 2023, at  St. Vincent's Chilton in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born April 14, 1952, in Alabama, daughter of the late Paul Mims and the late Betty Mims.

She was a clerk.

Surviving are her Son, Nathan (Julie) Emmerich; Granddaughter, Sara Kate Emmerich; Grandson, Carter Emmerich; Sisters, Becky Beck, Jan  (Len) Traywick, Joy (Gary) Jones, Judy (Hal) Ellison; Brothers, Gary Paul Mims, Jason (LaShonda) Mims; A host of nieces, nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Paul Mims; Mother, Betty Mims; Sister, Jennifer Mims.

Friends will be received Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jase Mims and Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
