Peggy G. Hayes, 90, of Thorsby, Alabama was born on November 19, 1935 and died on August, 25 ,2026.

Peggy lived in Bessemer, AL for much of her life raising her family and working as secretary for State Farm Insurance. After retirement she moved to Thorsby, Al enjoying farm life. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a loving mom and wife always making sure everyone was taken care of and well fed.

Survivors include her Son, Richard Hayes (Candy); Daughter, Myra Moreland (David); Grandchildren; Reed Youngblood, Jared Youngblood, Nathan Hayes (Sabrina), Nolan Hayes (Brittany), Josh Moreland, Kayla Mooreland Shattuck (Conor); Great-Grandchildren; Ava Kate Hayes, Mack Hayes, Patrick Hayes and Fyrne Hayes; Brother in law and Sister in law, David & Ann Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Harold Hayes; Parents, Harvey and Ada Lee Glasscock; Sister, Helen Rasberry; and Brother in law, Woodie Rasberry.
