Peggy Frances Robinson Kirby

Peggy Frances Robinson Kirby, 81, of Henagar, Alabama passed away September 19, 2024, at Dekalb Regional Hosptial in Fort Payne, Alabama.

She was born February 9, 1943, in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of the late Carl Hilton Robinson and the late Athlone Robinson.

Peggy graduated from Troy State and spent over 30 years in the Alabama Education system and retired from Auburn University as the Director of Student Services in the College of Liberal Arts in 2008.

Surviving are her Sons, John (Amy) Kirby and Heath (Tara) Kirby; Granddaughter, Hayden (Kaci Weaver) Kirby; Grandsons, Ben (Payton ) Kirby, Lucas Kirby, Cooper Kirby and Jase Kirby; Great-Grandson, Nolan Kirby; Great-Granddaughters, Annie Kirby and Lucy Kirby;  Sisters, Lavoy Dennis and Annette Walker; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Carl Hilton Robinson; Mother, Athlone Robinson.

Friends will be received Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Parlor B.

Services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Chilton Memorial Gardens.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
