Peggy Jean Letson, September 5, 1934 -December 15, 2023
Age 89
Born in Birmingham, AL and was a lifelong resident of Alabama. Peggy was a graduate of Woodlawn High School where she excelled in typing. Peggy married Robert E Letson, Jr., in 1954. Robert passed away April 10, 2017. Peggy was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a church secretary at Columbiana United Methodist Church in the 1970’s. She worked several years within the Shelby County Board of Education before working within the law office of Conrad, Fowler, Head and Ellis.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, sister and brother.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Joy) Letson, Mark (Patti) Letson, and Tim (Vickey) Letson. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held , December 17, 2023, at 9:00 am. at Verbena Cemetery with Bro. Tony Hughes officiating.
