Peggy Lou Murrah

Peggy Lou Murrah, 89, of Clanton died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Friday, March 21, 1930 in Clanton, AL, Daughter of the late George W. Murrah and the late Lily Roberta Robinson Murrah. She was a School Teacher/Principal for 42 years. Glee Club Director. She loved singing in the church choir. Surviving are Brother, Wyndol Murrah; A Host of Nieces, Nephews & Other Family. She was preceded in death by: Parents, George & Roberta Murrah, Sister, Eunice "Honey" Hagan, Brother, William Alton Murrah, Sr.. Friends will be received from 10-11, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.
