Peggy Joyce Smith

Peggy Joyce Smith, 73, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away July 16, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama.

She was born April 1, 1949 in Alabama, daughter of  the late William Willis and the late Florene Willis.

She was a seamstress and later in life a homemaker.

Surviving are her Son, Joey (Carla) Wilson, Eric (Stephanie) Wilson, Neil Wilson; Daughter, Tammy Lockhart; Step-Daugther, Angela Smith; Brother, Roger (Donna) Willis; Sister, Cathy Latham; 13 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; A host of  Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband, Brian Smith; Parents,William & Florene Willis; Brothers, Lloyd Willis, Jerry Willis, Billy Willis; Brother-In-Law, Bruce Latham; Grandson, Joseph Wilson; Great-Grandson, Easton Wilson.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church.

Services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow in Walnut Creek United Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
