Peggy Joyce Thompson, 87, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 15, 2020 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton, AL. She was born May 8, 1933 in Alabama. She is the daughter of Ed Popwell and Dollie Popwell. She was a cosmetologist. Surviving are her Daughter, Angela Bates; Granddaughters, Ashley Brooke Bates, Kristina Hollie Connell; Grandson, Brandon Ellison; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Lula Bowden, June Traywick; Brother, Jerry Popwell and a host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Dollie Popwell; Father, Ed Popwell; Husband, James Frank Thompson; Sisters, Myra Parker, Mary Francis Popwell; Brothers, Pat Popwell, Gene A. Popwell.
