Virgil Lamar "Pete" Barber, 52, of Clanton died Monday, December 23, 2013. He was born on Friday, July 28, 1961 in Alabama. He was Owner of Pete's Wrecker Service. Surviving are Wife, Brenda Barber of Clanton, AL; Son, Phillip Barber of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Lisa (Daniel) Wise of Clanton, AL; Grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Jason, Zach, Noah, Dallas, Rianna, Caden, Ayden and Elyse. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, December 26, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Olen Hutchins, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
