Peter Sanders Lirette

Lirette, Mr. Peter Sanders, age 71, a resident of Clanton, AL died on Friday, May 13,2016. Mr. Lirette was born February 5, 1945 to the late Robert & Leola Lirette, Sr. He served in the United States Army and was a 100 Ton USCG Boat Captain for over 50 years. He was a loving husband and family man. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Brenda L. Lirette; children, Christian Lirette, Craig Lirette, Savannah Lirette, Anglia (Tilman) Naquin, Raymond (Melinda) Barrows, Erika Johnson, Jamie (Dwayne) Peterson, and Chase Michael Barrows; 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandson; brothers & sisters, Paul (Theresa) Lirette, Gary (Frances) Lirette, Jessie (Mercedes) Lirette, Curt (Wife) Lirette, Amonda (Junior) Vosior, Debbie McCune, Trudy Faunguy, Rhonda (Ed) Smith, Phillip Lirette, Richard (Jennie) Lister, Theresa (Gary) Mount and a blessing full of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Leola Lirette, Sr., son, Christopher Lirette, brother, Robert Lirette, Jr., sister, Betty Lacoste, sister, Brenda Liner, and sister Julie Lirette. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 am from Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison, AL with military honors. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home. The family will accept flowers or donations to ones favorite charity. Serving as active Pallbearers will be Chase Barrows, Raymond Barrows, Gavin Peterson, Hunter Peterson, Cody Lister, Tilman Naquin, Ryan Peters, and Camrun Tubbs.
