Phillip Eugene Davenport, 77, of Clanton, Alabama passed away on April 8, 2025, in Clanton, Alabama.
He was born on February 28, 1948, in Clanton, Alabama, and was the son of the late AJ and Thelma Davenport.
He was a beloved teacher. He loved anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was the keeper of stories and the family genealogy. He was married to his beloved wife, Kathy, for over 51 years. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new faces and places.
Surviving are his Wife, Kathy Davenport; Brother, Richard (Sandy) Davenport; Cousin, Judy Druckemiler.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, AJ and Thelma Davenport, Brothers, James Davenport, Robert Davenport and Ray Davenport; Sister, Clarice Daniel.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
