Phillip J. JONES, 58, of Clanton died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at UAB, Birmingham. He was born on Wednesday, December 13, 1950 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Aaron A. Jones and the late Fannie Smith Jones. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his Wife, Mary S. Jones of Clanton, AL; Son, Gregory Dewayne Jones of Bessemer, AL; Daughter, Brandi Norred of Clanton, AL; Step-daughter, Michelle Powell of Clanton, AL; 6 Grandchildren; Sister, Faye Mims of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Two Brothers, Charlie and Forrest Jones and Sister, Mary Jones. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, October 12, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at 3:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Talley and Rev. Donnie Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045. Martin Funeral Home directing.
