Preston Lee Gore, 93, of Jemison died Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Friday, March 31, 1922 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late James Sydney Gore and the late Alice Drucilla Dutton Gore. He was a Welder. Surviving are Daughter, Geraldine Green of Jemison, AL; 2 Grandsons, Jimmy Green of Jemison, AL, Jimmy Trendergast, New Jersey; Grandddaughter, Cathy Porter of Jemison, AL; 9 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren and Sister, Ester Goezel, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Eleanor Taratino Gore. Friends will be received from 12-1, Monday, August 3, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 1:00 pm. with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating.
