Ralph Eugene Marcus

Ralph Eugene Marcus, 93, of Jemison, Alabama passed away September 11, 2020 at Hatley Health Care Nursing Home. He was born December 16, 1926 in Wetumpka, Alabama, son of Leonard Marcus and Amy Lurana Marcus. He was a Machine Operator with Hayes International and then Pemco Aeroplex. He owned Marcus Floor Coverings in Jemison for over 30 years. Surviving are his Son, Terry (Jane) Marcus, Son, Larry (Wilma) Marcus, Son, Perry (Sina) Marcus, Son, Harold (Bea) Marcus, Granddaughter, Amy (Scott) Johnson, Granddaughter, Terra (Chris) Reed, Granddaughter, Christina (Mike) Jackson, Granddaughter, Miranda Chandler, Great-Granddaughter, Mattie Jackson, Great-Grandson, Coen Chandler,Great-Granddaughter, Lexie Jackson, Great-Granddaughter, Lynne Alan Reed, Great-Granddaughter, Gracie Ann Reed, Great-Granddaughter, Brooke Johnson, Brother, Robert Earl (Pearl) Marcus. He was preceded in death by his Father, Leonard Marcus, Mother, Amy Lurana Marcus, Wife, Ida Johnson Marcus, Daughter, Betty Marcus Brewster, Nine Brothers and Sisters. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Tony Christensen officiating.
