Randy E Stewart

Randy Eric Stewart was born on July 27, 1959, in Thorsby, Alabama to the union of Ida B. Stewart and the late Mr. James Stewart. Randy was called home to be with the LORD on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Veteran’s Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama.

Randy confessed Christ at an early age and attended Beulah Baptist Church, Thorsby, Alabama. He enlisted in the United States Army and traveled the world. He later attended George Wallace Community College. He never met a stranger and was affectionately known by his friends as “Buck”

Randy was preceded in death by his father and sisters, Phyllis Wood(C.O.) and Cathy Kine (Willie). He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Mr. Dominique Robinson (Felicia) Fayetteville, NC; Two brothers, Anthony K. Stewart, Jonesboro, Georgia, Wiley “Jerome” Stewart, Detroit, Michigan; three sisters, Daphne Wyatt (Ritchey), Clanton, Alabama; Jennifer Heathington (Rodney) Huntsville, Alabama and Frances Holt (Samuel), Moody, Alabama; A Special Friend, Ruby Barron, Jemison, Alabama. One grandchild (Sayeedah); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Family will receive friends at Martin Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 1:00pm- 2:00pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Beulah Baptist Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
