Raymond Eugene Hilyer, 77, of Jemison died Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born on Thursday, January 16, 1941 in Jemison, AL, Son of the late Fonza Hilyer and the late Lula Cofer Hilyer. He was a Service Technician with Bellsouth. Surviving are Wife, Brenda Hilyer of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Francine (Marshall) McBride of Madison, AL; Son, William (Macie) Hilyer of Jemison, AL; Step-son, Kyle (Bette) Crowson of Jemison, AL; Step-daughter, Leah (Jaime) Leon; 8 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Helen Coker, Frances Gore, Betty Headley, Bernice Weatherly, Brenda Rhodes; Brothers, Robert Hilyer, James Hilyer. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Fonza & Lula Hilyer and Brother, Jimmy Hilyer. Friends will be received from 1-3, Sunday, March 18, 2018 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Donald Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL.
