He was born on Sunday, December 25, 1932 in Clanton, Alabama to his Parents, Alvin Reedie and Pauline Lawrence Taylor. He owned Chicago Sales Company in Clanton, Alabama. Surviving are his Wife, Glenda Headley Taylor; Son, Lawrence Barry (Nancy) Taylor; Daughters, Jeanne Taylor (Michael) Barrett, Susan Taylor (Aaron) Mitchell; Grandchildren, Kevin Lawrence (Holleigh) Taylor, Stephen Reedie (Chelsey) Taylor, Brandon (Nishma) Barrett, Melissa (Eric) Jenkins, Ashley (Michael) Gregory, Reid Mitchell, Reilly Mitchell, Rowan Mitchell and Rustin Mitchell; Great-Grandchildren, Elizabeth Lauryn "Libby" Taylor, Connor Jenkins, Claire Gregory, Olivia Gregory and Julia Gregory. He was preceded in death by his Son, Alvin Bruce Taylor; Grandson, Reginald Ashley Taylor; Father, Alvin Reedie Taylor; Mother, Pauline Lawrence Taylor; Sisters, Mary Ann Deininger and Betty Jo Muncher. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, Clanton, Alabama. Services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Martha Headley officiating.
