Rena Dennis Burnett, 95, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Monday, August 9, 1915 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Madison D. Dennis and the late Martha Dennis. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Pauline B. Mims of Lake Park, GA, Agnes (Roland) Williams of Selma, AL; 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Burnett and son, Bobby E. Burnett. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Earl Hilyer officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
