She was born on Friday, January 13, 1928 in Alabama, Daughter of the late Edgar Duren and the late Fannie Mae Scott. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant. Surviving are her Sons, Rex (Teresa) Marcus of Clanton, AL, Larry (Shirley) McLain of Jemison, AL; Sister, Faye Ramey of Mableton, GA; Brother, J.T. Duren of Mableton, GA; Grandsons, Anthony (Bridget) Marcus of Clanton, AL, Adam Marcus of Clanton, AL; Granddaughters, Adrienne McLain Griffin of Alabaster, AL, Ariel McLain of Clanton, AL; Great-Grandsons, Will Marcus of Clanton, AL, Dylan Marcus of Clanton, AL, Cayden Young of Clanton, AL, Caleb Griffin of Alabaster, AL; Great-Granddaughter, Lexi Smitherman of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jack Duncan Marcus. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Mr. Adam Jack Marcus officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL.
