Rev. Pate H Hughins, Jr

Rev. Pate H. Hughins,Jr., 79, of Clanton, Alabama passed away September 11, 2025, at his residence.

He was born March 11, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, son of the late Rev. Pate Hughins, Sr. and the late Lexie Hughins.

He was in construction and a minister.

Surviving are his Wife of 50 years, Audrey Hughins, Daughter, Andrea (Tim) Wakefield, Son, Pate Hughins, III, Son, Nicholas (Tiffany) Hughins, Son, Jacob Hughins, Grandson, Caleb (Jordan) Wakefield, Granddaughter, Cassie (Logan) Ray, Granddaughter, Cayleen Wakefield, Granddaughter, Gracie Hughins, Granddaughter, Graylin Hughins, Granddaughter, Grayanna Hughins, Great-Grandson, Truett Ray, Future Great-Granddaugther, Anna Caton Ray.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Pate H. Hughins, Sr., Mother, Lexie Sellers Hughins.

Friends will be received Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pleasant Grove #1 Church.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00 am. at Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church with Rev. William Short and Rev. Travis Burnett officiating.

Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.

The National Cemetery will only allow a few flowers at the cemetery, the family request that donations be made to Gideon's International in Loving Memory of Rev. Pate Hughins.
