He was born on Monday, January 7, 1952 in Clanton, AL, Son of the late Norris Mims and Louise Smitherman Mims Smith. He was a security guard. Surviving are his Mother, Louise Smith of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Daughter, April Marlow of TN; Grandson, Dylan Dilbeck of TN; Great-Grandson, Renly Dilbeck of TN; Sisters, Barbara Gail (Danny) Frith of Randolph, AL, Virginia (James) Norvell of Mary Esther, FL, Debra Kay (David) Askew of Clanton, AL, Louise Marie (John Wyatt) Mims of Prattville, AL; Nephews, Michael Frith, Ronnie Darnell, Brian Headley, Eric Kennedy, David Askew. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev.
