Rhoda J. JOHNSTON, 49, of Clanton died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Friday, May 8, 1959 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Thomas Edward Myers and the late Syble Scott Myers. She worked in sales at Collins Nursery. Surviving are her Husband, Ricky Johnston of Clanton, AL; 3 Daughters, Jessica Barnes of Verbena, AL, Stephanie Wells of Verbena, AL, Andrea Michelle Headley of Clanton, AL; Step-son, David Johnston of Clanton, AL; 2 Step-daughters, Valeria Johnston of Sneed, AL, Chrissy Marino of Clanton, AL; 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, November 1, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, November 2, 2008, at 3:00PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Simon Bussey officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
