Richard William "Bill" Farris, 76, of Adamsville, AL went to be with the Lord surrounded by his wife and loving family on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. He was born on Friday, June 5, 1936 in Alabama, Son of the late Sam White Farris and the late Frances Davidson Farris. He was a Business Owner, selling electrical and electronic equipment. Surviving are Wife, Deloris Farris of Adamsville, AL; 3 Daughters, Sandra F. Otts of Graysville, AL, Vicki Farris of Graysville, AL, Tricia F. (Joe) Bice of Clanton, AL; Son, Mike Farris of Mt. Olive, AL; 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Granddaughters, 2 Great Grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Frances Farris and son, Greg Farris. Friends will be received from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 pm Thursday, March 21, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Adamsville, AL. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 2:45 pm at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama with Rev. Tony Hughes officiating. Family request NO flowers.
