Richard Stuart Gilliam, 71, of Clanton died Saturday, April 3, 2010. He was born on Wednesday, July 27, 1938 in Arizona, Son of the late Stuart Gilliam and the late Willie Mae Brown Gilliam. He was a Retired Coach and Teacher. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Ola Faye Gilliam of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. John Stuart (Danielle) Gilliam of Fairhope, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Leisl G. (Kurt) Lemire of Daphne, AL; Grandchildren, Luke, John Pierce, & Alyssa Lemire, Jackson, Elijah, & Jacob Gilliam; Sister, Barbara Keith of McDonough, GA. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 @ West End Baptist Church, Clanton, AL. Services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 2:00 P.M.. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama. Family will receive flowers or donations may be made to West End Baptist Building Fund.
