He was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1932 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late William Jasper Jones and the late Lillie Mae Dupree Jones. He was a retired Train Master with Norfolk Southern Railroad. Surviving are his Wife, Margaret Jones of Clanton, AL; 3 Daughters, Regina (Mike) Lind of Nashville, TN, Sharon (Randy) Nelms of Oneonta, AL, Wendy (Bob) Green of Huntsville, AL; Son, Richard (Marianne) Jones, II of San Antonio, TX; 2 Sisters, Sharon (John) Beutler of Verbena, AL, Trudie (Roger) Jones of Deatsville, AL; 3 Brothers, Douglas (Lois) Jones of Gardner, IL, Gilbert (Ann) Jones of Palos Clark, IL, Ken (Karen) Jones of Montgomery, AL; 13 Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8, Thursday, August 5, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2010, at 10:00 A.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
