Richard Gene Simonye

Richard Gene Simonye, 76, of Hillman, Michigan passed away on April 20, 2013 in Verbena, Alabama. Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on July 7, 1936. He worked as a mechanic until he retired from his auto garage in Atlanta, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and working with his hands. Richard married Norma Running on October 29, 1955; they were married 57 years. Surviving are his wife, Norma; sons, Bruce (Bette) and Scott; Daughter, Laura (Bill) Baker; daughter-in-law, Julie Simonye-Carter; brother, Earl (Lynn); 5 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Friends may visit the family on April 23 and a private gathering for the family will be held on April 24, 2013.
