Richard D. Turner

Rick Turner, age 72, of Billingsley, Alabama, went home to be with his Lord on February 6, 2026. He served honorably for 20 years in the United States Navy, a source of pride and an enduring expression of his deep love of country. A small-town Alabama boy, Rick had the opportunity to see much of the world through his naval service, which brought joy and adventure to his life. 

Rick loved his family deeply and cherished the steady companionship of his dogs, who brought him comfort and loyalty throughout his life. 

He is survived by his wife, Gina Turner; his son, Ian Turner; his mother, Imogene Turner; his sister, Sheila Deloach; and other family members who will remember him with love. He is preceded in death by his father, CA Turner.

Rick will be buried privately in Alabama with family.
