Robert Harold Culp, Sr., 91, of Clanton died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home. He was born on Monday, June 22, 1925 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Robert S. Culp and the late Mae Poole Culp. He was a WWII Veteran and a Heating and Air Technician. Surviving are his Wife of 69 years, Betty Culp of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Janet (Terry) Mullins of Prattville, AL; Sons, Robert H. (Elaine) Culp, Jr. of Ozark, AL, Drue Culp of Clanton, AL, Brian (Jamie) Culp of Clanton, AL, Travis (Linda) Culp of Cocoa Beach, FL; 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Edwin Culp of Cleveland, TN. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2013 at West End Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. David McGowin officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
