Robert Lesley Harris, 76, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away January 2, 2021 at Grandview Medial Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born November 28, 1944 in Laurel, Mississippi, son of Rev. Joe Harris and Myrtle McKenzie Harris. He was a shoe cobbler. Surviving are his Daughter, Christie (Adam) Stano; Grandsons, Patrick Gartin, Jr., Brent W. Gartin, Joey Stano; Brother, Dr. Joseph Harris, Sister, Shelia Harris Ellzey. He was preceded in death by his Father, Rev. Joe Harris; Mother, Myrtle McKenzie Harris; Sisters, Gwen H. Ellzey, Sharon H. Cunningham; Brother, Larry Wendall Harris; Step-Mother, Loretta Harris Husser; Common-Law Wife, Leigh Ann Wicker. Friends will be received Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Thorsby Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Joseph Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
